Our Client is a world leading agricultural commodities producer, processor and trading house. They are one of the major players in the trading world. They provide innovative solutions to customers across major market segments; including agriculture and food and energy and natural resources. Some of their major businesses include the trading and distribution of agricultural commodities, manufacturing and sale of livestock and feed, trading in energy, steel and transport, and the production of food ingredients. They also provide risk management and financial solutions to both their customers and their own businesses.






Position Purpose:


The Senior Pricing Analyst’s primary role is to create and capture value using innovative pricing strategies and process. The position will work closely with the commercial team to ensure product and service profitability. Strong strategic thinking and analytic skill, excellent communication and relationship building skills are required to collaborate across numerous functions including: sales, customer service, procurement, trading, transportation and finance. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to migrate efficiently through complex systems and data, can simultaneously manage multiple high priority projects, and can identify unique alternative problem solutions


40%: Lead and work collaboratively with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop implement and optimize pricing strategies across the business in Food Ingredient and Bio-industrial (FIBI) APAC to support the financial objective, includes strategic analytical skill enhancement for the business, pricing process optimization etc. Meanwhile, collaborate with Global strategic pricing team for developing best practice for FIBI enterprise


20%: Collaborating with commercial team, marketing team to identify pricing process improvement opportunity, in the aim to improve the maturity level of strategic pricing execution in each every business in the region


40%: Collaborating with commercial excellence Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team, to strategically develop the CPQ (Contract, Pricing, Quotation module) deployment roadmap for APAC region, lead deployment project for all business in the region by teaming up with CRM team, business resources, commercial team, IT team, finance team, and other relevant functional team



Minimum Required Qualifications


·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Science or related field

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or related business field

·         Demonstrated strong quantitative & analytical ability


Preferred Qualifications


·         Master degree, MBA preferred and a proven track record of at least 3- 5 years in pricing role or other similar practice area

·         Strong analytical skills to execute complex data analysis

·         Demonstrated excellent people skills

·         Demonstrated track record of facilitating and implementing change

·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-functional environment

·         Proven ability to behave in accordance with company values and ethics

·         Experience with production or manufacturing environment
